Honey Garlic Grill Salmon & Thai Fried Rice

My husband and I love salmon!

The best salmon we ever had was during his bday celebration!
I surprised him with a romantic sky-dinning on a cable car.
We had smoked salmon appetizer and pan-seared salmon fillet. *drools*

I was craving for salmon so I prepared a nice candle light dinner with my husband.

And I added a Thai fried rice to spice things up! Glad my husband loves it!

Like I mentioned that I'm not a good cook. I learned cooking by watching Forever summer with Nigella. I heart Nigella Lawson! But this ingredient I actually googled it. It's easy to make, I tell u!

Here's how to make a Honey garlic grill salmon.

1/4 cup of olive oil
1/4 cup of Lemon juice
2 tbsp of Honey
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 cloves garlic (minced or Smashed!) :)
2 salmon fillet

Mix and stir oil, lemon juice, soy sauce, honey and garlic

Marinade the fillet for a couple of hours. After which place the fillet on the grill pan and cook!

Another trick is to marinade The fillet with this.

BBQ Sauce!

As for the fried rice. :)

I use Maggie Thai Fried Rice powder!
3 cups leftover rice
Optional 2 eggs
1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
1 onion, chopped
1 small red chilli pepper, deseeded and cubed

Heat oil and stir-fry onion and red chilli for a min

Add rice and Maggie Thai Fried Rice Powder in the wok, mix and stir-fry until heated through

Make a well in the centre, add the egg cook for 2 mins and stir with the rice.

And serve!
