I'v been neglecting this avenue again. But nevertheless here I am, again~ Blame Audi for this! Coz I had been adoring her, play with her, feed her & just too happy having her around the house.
Audi is my bunny. & she's super adorable! She resembles one of my fave car.
So that's y I named her Audi.
I had her when she was 2 mnth of age. She was my 23rd bday gift from husband. Coz I hv always been awwwww-ing over bunnies.
I ever had a cat when I was younger back then. & I thot it was tougher having cats as pets. Cats hv smelly poops, noisy and all. Still adore, nothing against them. Lol!
So when sweetheart allowed me to hv bunny, I was delighted!
But there are things that needs to be considered if bunnies are right for us and our family, and if we are right for them too.
Bunnies are not low-maintenance pets. So there will be an added financial responsibility in the aspect of preparing on their housing, food and bunny proofing supplies. Especially food and litter will be an ongoing cost. They also require some routine vet care from a good rabbit vet. And having bunnies is a long-term commitment as the can live till 10+ yrs.
My Audi has a free reign in the house, so I need to prepare bunny proof at every corner. She is happier that way. She leaps and running around most of the time, that's how we know she is elated! :D
Excersize and entertainment is a must as they will get into trouble when boredom strikes! Audi will creates her own fun by chewing on our cushion and left a whole on it~ She ever chewed on my grandpa's wheelchair's anti-tip bar and turned out ugly! -_-" thus some toys or safe chewable objects or the mineral stones would be a great diversions.
Bunnies are a socialize animals. So they love to hv interactions and play with us all the time. And they need to hv a place to rest by themselves but not secluded from us.
I love cuddling Audi and fortunately she loves it too coz most bunnies doesn't practicularly like being held or picked up.
And i'm blessed that Audi is litterbox trained eversince we brought her into the house. Fact that bunnies are smart animals besides puppies! :D
Bottom line is, do your research b4 deciding to adopt one. Coz if u think u can afford and hv the confidence, u will be able to fully enjoy the wonderful companionship bunnies can offer.
I loveeeee Audi <3
