Spring High Tea

A couple of months ago were my last semester in Humber College. And I'm anxiously waiting for my convocation in June! However, that's not the reason of my absence from this blog. It is just an excuse for being a lazy ass. So now I am back with the 1st celebration held for a friend whom I met along the way. I was honored to be invited to help plan the decor. :D You'd know how excited I will get over decorations and DIYs! Trying to stick to a close budget, we pulled it together with materials that were readily accessible.

My 1st diy - Scented dresses for the ladies. Again, inspired by my husband's aunt from Husgif Creations.

2nd diy is a flower clip for the girls

Not forgetting a simple decor for the chairs too :)

And a Scrap Book papers to make paper fans and roses for wall decor.

Onesies shaped banner for the baby shower
That was the 'magic' word of the day. Part of the game was to avoid mentioning it even in another language that has the same meaning to it.

The floral and colorful 'tablescape'

After catching up with the ladies during the high tea, we quickly set up a surprise baby shower for the mommy to be.
