Gardens by the Bay

Mak Long came all the way from Vancouver to Singapore to celebrate Eid with families. I think it was the 2nd day of Eid when she reached. She too dint know that I was in Spore. And ofcorz she was surprised.

On the 2nd week of Eid, after we went for VFR (fyi, It's a travel agent's terminology for visit friends and relatives), we brought mak long to one of Spore's newest attraction; Gardens by the Bay. Hokay, so it was my 1st time there too. Husband insisted of going in to bring mak long around, and I on the other hand was happy coz I got to share with my friends a sneak peak of what's inside. It was decently beautiful, the fact that it is a man-made indoor gardens. Whaddaya expect?

My husband and I paid a local rate, priced at $20/pax, while mak long, since she's a Canadian, a standard rate priced at $28/pax. So they have local resident rate and standard rate too. Local senior citizen is at $15/pax and local children's rate age 3-12 years old is at $12/pax. Standard rate for senior citizen at $28, and standard rate for children age 3-12 years old is at $15.

Did I mentioned a sneak peak? Screw that! Enjoy the pix :) Go on and experience yourself, it would be way better. Moreover, its not that expensive.

Due to hari raya (eid) i supposed that they had those decorations up?
Fyi, most malays in Spore are Muslims. And the malay muslims celebrate Eid. Those decorations are part of the malay traditional collections. Ade Bunga Manggar and Bunga Pahar. Bunga rampai je tk nmpk~

Distance

It had been a week since my husband returned from LA to Singapore. The time differences are tough to cope with. C'mon, i miss my husband -_-"
Now that he is back in Spore, it's easier to manage our time to Skype. Although, i was hoping that he would drop by to Canada again for a while :( buttt, for work reasons, he had to go back to Spore.

Being in a distance relationship is tough. Makes me a stronger person. Though we are miles apart, my husband will always be there for me. Thanks to Skype!

My close friends see me as a strong and brave young lady. Some even admires me. Hey, i just gotta stay positive. This is my dream. I am amazed by myself too that i have come this far. My husband is my strength. He inspires me, motivates me and encourages me to pursue my dreams. I'll make him proud. I'll make my family proud too. A few more month to go baby. Just hang in there.

Hannniwayy.. I came back to Spore during Eid last August without anyone in Spore knew that I was coming. Only 2 days after i have reached that i popped up in front of my parent's house and made my sister and mom jumped with joy! Lol Anddd my 1st time meeting baby Daneen Alisya! The apple of my eyes! Furqan was stunt too. "Ni org slalu nmpk kat TV, mcm mane boleh kluar TV plak?" (I read his mind) Righttt~ The fact that they alwasy Skype with me on their 60" flat screen that almost covers the whole wall in their 3room flat that my dad newly bought. OMG! I was glad and so happy that i had a month of summer break to see everyone & my baby bunny!!
